At Trailhead Engraving, every order is handled with precision and built to last. Because many of our products are custom-made, our return policy is structured to be fair while protecting the integrity of our work.

Custom Engraved Items (Non-Returnable)
Due to the personalized nature of our work, all custom engraved items are final sale.
This includes:
- Custom engraved metal business cards
- Items with personalized text, names, or QR codes
- Logo engraving or customer-supplied artwork
- Bulk or agency-specific orders
Once engraving has begun, the item cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged.
Exception:
If there is an error caused by Trailhead Engraving (incorrect text, misalignment, or defect in workmanship), we will remake or replace the item at no cost.
Non-Custom / Blank Items
Items that are not engraved or customized may be returned under the following conditions:
- Return request must be made within 30 days of purchase
- Item must be unused and in original condition
- Item must be returned in original packaging (if applicable)
Approved returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 10%.
Additional deductions may apply if items show:
- Wear marks
- Scratches or damage
- Missing components
Return Process
To request a return, contact us at:
Include:
- Order number
- Item(s) you wish to return
- Reason for return
If approved, return instructions will be provided. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our error.
Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, you must notify us within 5 days of delivery.
Please include:
- Photos of the item
- Photos of packaging (if damaged in transit)
We will review and resolve the issue quickly, including replacement if necessary.
Order Accuracy Responsibility
Customers are responsible for verifying:
- Spelling
- Dates
- Names
- Uploaded artwork
We engrave exactly what is submitted. Trailhead Engraving is not responsible for errors provided by the customer.
Cancellations
- Orders may be canceled only if engraving has not started
- Once production begins, the order is locked and cannot be canceled
Refunds
If a return is approved:
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
- Processing time is typically 5–7 business days after inspection
Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
